Carrie McClain is the Assistant Vice President for the Office of Diversity and Inclusion at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. Within her role as the Assistant Vice President, Carrie works with others across the University on initiatives of significant importance to OU such as increasing the diversity amongst the University community. She provides collaborative leadership with the OUHSC academic deans and other campus leaders, and works closely with the Student Service offices in the OUHSC colleges, Student Affairs, Human Resources and with OU Norman campus resources. Carrie received her B.A. from the University of Oklahoma as well as her Master’s in Human Relations with a focus in Counseling. Following the completion of her Master’s, she became a Licensed Professional Counselor.
